The Big Bend Equine Center has been a godsend to us.  Since we are new to the area and relatively new to the horse world, Jim and Mandy have both been so helpful to us.  I have relied on their extensive knowledge of horses, and I appreciate that they have always been available when needed.  Also, the people that work at the stable are reliable and knowledgeable as well. 

Our horses have received excellent care.  The service has been outstanding – always letting me know when something needs attention and even helping me trailer horses to the vet.  One horse that we have was malnourished and needed extra care when we first got him.  They worked carefully with him and now he is healthy. 

Another huge benefit is the riding lessons that are available.  Our children have really enjoyed taking riding lessons at their facility and have learned so much.  I highly recommend the Big Bend Equine Center.

Big Bend Equine Center owner/operators Jim and Mandy Larrymore are an authentic ranch couple.  The have lived and worked on ranches most of their adult lives have a lifetime of experince training and caring for horses. The Big Bend Equine Center is not a sideline, for them it's a 24/7 operation. If your new to equine activities they can help you get started, if your a serious rider/competitor they have the arenas and areas for serious practice.  Veterinary facilites are within a few minutes and Jim is experience farrier. 

I spend several months a year working overseas, I keep my roping horse there and don't worry about it.
